The Henan High Efficiency Lubricant Engineering Technology Research Center was established in July 2008 by the Henan Provincial Department of Science and Technology. The center relies on Henan Beijia Lubrication Technology Co., Ltd. to focus on the research and industrialization of special lubricants, and is committed to breaking the situation of high-end lubricant products relying on imports, promoting the development of China's lubricant industry towards high efficiency, environmental protection, and safety. The center adopts the core strategy of "technology oriented driving", integrates domestic and foreign scientific research resources, and creates an innovative platform integrating research and development, pilot testing, and industrialization through industry university research cooperation. The main research and development direction is the research and certification of food grade lubricants (greases); Engineering application of low-temperature and high-temperature special lubricating grease; Key technological breakthroughs in energy-saving and environmentally friendly lubricants;
The center has a modern research and development site, with a physical laboratory area of 1200 square meters, equipped with complete laboratories and pilot production lines, and has full process research and development capabilities from basic research to pilot production. The pilot production line can meet the small-scale production and process validation needs of special lubricants, providing technical support for industrialization. The center is equipped with 36 advanced instruments and equipment, including a petroleum kinematic viscosity tester and a lubricating grease cone penetration tester, with a total value of 24 million yuan and good operating conditions. Regular maintenance and calibration of equipment to ensure the accuracy and reliability of research and development data.
Center Director Li Changfu (Senior Engineer), with a total team of 12 people, including 3 PhDs, 5 masters, and 4 overseas experienced personnel. The center actively introduces high-end talents, full-time introduces one American expert, hires Professor Zhu Jianhua (China University of Petroleum) as the chief scientist, and selects four people to study and exchange in the United States and Canada. Comprehensively improve the quality of the R&D team and increase the proportion of mid to senior level talents in design and development personnel.
The center has undertaken multiple national and provincial scientific research projects, including the National Torch Program and international scientific and technological cooperation projects. The center has made multiple technological breakthroughs in the field of special lubricants, such as formula optimization and production process improvement of food grade lubricants. By collaborating with CPU Lubrication Technology Company in the United States, we aim to introduce advanced international technology and management experience to enhance our research and innovation capabilities. Newly developed "CPU PF300 Synthetic Food Grade Lubricant" to achieve import substitution, and formulated the first national food grade lubricant group standard (6 items). The center has obtained 14 national patent protections, released 24 standards for special lubricating oil products, and achieved industrial application of multiple achievements. Food grade lubricants have passed NSF international dual certification, filling the domestic gap and promoting industry technological upgrading. The technological achievements of the center are widely applied in industries such as construction machinery, food, and chemical engineering, reducing enterprise costs and improving equipment operating efficiency. Through technical training and services, a group of professional and technical talents have been trained for the industry, promoting regional economic development. At the same time, the transformation and application of technological achievements have broken the monopoly of foreign technology, reduced import dependence, and enhanced the competitiveness of domestic enterprises. The promotion and use of food grade lubricants ensure food safety, reduce environmental pollution, and have significant social benefits.
