International Joint Laboratory

The Henan Special Lubricants International Joint Laboratory was recognized by the Henan Provincial Department of Science and Technology on December 5, 2014. It is oriented towards the industry and the world, and follows the path of combining production, academia, and research to achieve the unity of research results and engineering technology transformation. The main purpose is to provide a platform for universities, research institutions, and enterprises to connect scientific and technological innovation, fully leverage the advantages of industry, academia, and research, establish experimental and incubation centers for special lubricants, radiate and drive the development of this field, and solve the current bottleneck problems in the industrialization and promotion of advanced lubricants. At the same time, we will further strengthen the platform's radiation function, provide technical consulting services and product testing services for other domestic enterprises, and continuously launch efficient and energy-saving series of high-tech lubricating oil products.

The laboratory currently has 12 scientific and technological personnel, including 3 doctoral students and 5 master's students. It has a high-quality research and development team composed of professors, senior engineers, and others. We have successively signed industry university research cooperation agreements with WEXPEC, SWEPCO, CPU companies in the United States, as well as research institutes such as Henan Academy of Sciences and China University of Petroleum for joint research and development. In recent years, the laboratory has obtained 9 invention patents, 2 utility model patents, and 3 design patents through independent research and development. The food grade lubricating oil (grease) series products developed have broken the long-standing blockade of Western countries on the production process and technology of food grade lubricating products. It is the 17th food grade lubricating product in the world to obtain dual certification from the US NSF, and also the first independently developed food grade lubricating oil in China to pass the international authoritative dual certification. It has significant implications for the production of China's food industry and food safety in China.

Through the construction of international joint laboratories, communication and cooperation with foreign research institutions and special oil companies have been strengthened. Currently, it has been in contact with Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers (STLE)、 NSF International、WEXPEC、SWEPCO  We have carried out cooperation in academic, technological, product and other aspects. On this basis, CPULUBRITIONTECHNOLOGY, LLC was established as a carrier for international cooperation and the development of international markets. Promoted the leapfrog development of technology research and academic exchange, and cultivated a team of scientific and technological innovation talents with an international perspective.

CPU LUBRICATION TECHNOLOGY, LLC is a branch of the laboratory established in Houston, USA, with a doctoral work team. Providing a global perspective for the laboratory is an important support for introducing advanced lubrication technology from around the world, and a carrier for the laboratory to carry out international cooperation and develop international markets. Through cooperation with CPU companies in the United States, the laboratory has successively established Pacific Northwest National Laboratory，PNNL、WEXPEC、SWEPCO、NSF International、STLE  Direct cooperation. NSF International is an independent, non-profit non-governmental organization established in 1944. NSF specializes in standard setting, product testing, and certification services in the fields of public health, safety, and environmental protection, and is an authoritative organization in the field of public health and safety.

The Henan International Joint Laboratory of Special Lubricants has become a research and development base with complete independent innovation and research equipment in the domestic special lubricant industry. The laboratory actively engages in the research and development of new processes, equipment, materials, products, and complete engineering technologies in the field of lubricants, tracks the research and development direction of international advanced lubricants, accelerates the engineering of scientific and technological achievements, and ensures that the enterprise is at the forefront of international special lubricant research and development technology. It can always keep up with changes in market demand, stand at an advantage in competition, and maintain the company's high industry leading position and market competitiveness. Its comprehensive research and development capabilities have also reached the international leading level.
